What is binging?
Binge Eating Disorder is characterized by compulsive overeating in which people consume very large amounts of food as if in a trance. An episode can last from two hours to a full day, on and off. Binge eaters often eat when they’re not hungry and continue to eat until they feel extremely full or sick. They may also gorge themselves as fast as they can with anything and everything.

Tips to stop binging
As someone who's dealt with binging, I have tried tons of things while trying to get rid of the habit. The thing that ended up working for me most was to not restrict any foods, not even intolerances, and to eat desired foods in desired amounts. I gained some weight from doing thing, but it wasn't too long before I stopped binging. Here are some links to other helpful things.
